Eclectic Strategies to Improve Ankle Mobility

Here is the latest in my series of Eclectic Treatments involving IASTM, Functional Release, mobilization with movements, and manipulation, this time for the ankle.

I will be posting more vids in the future, next up forearm/wrist, and then thoracic spine!

  1. Love these eclectic videos. Alot of the functional mobs I have seen in the IPA classes. I am starting FMLQ today so I am sure I will see more of them there. Keep them coming, they are much appreciated.

  2. Thanks John! They take a while to film, but that's my plan! I have to have a few cancellations to do so!

  3. Thanks again for your hard work and another great vid!
Just wondering what your thoughts were on doing a thrust to, let's say, the prox tib/fib joint prior to mob/MWM? Although possibly against the mobilization "continuum", I think you can get some really nice results (ie DF and HVLA prior to mob -to what I think is the talus)
Ps I'm looking forward to your eclectic thoracic video!

  4. Really awesome video Erson, I'm a DPT student and work as a personal trainer, ankle dorsiflexion ROM limitations are enormous! Can't wait to graduate and start trying some of this stuff.
