Fix Clicking Knees with this Old School Technique

If you or a patient has knee clicking and a meniscal injury or tear is suspected, you should try this updated version of an Old School Cyriax traction technique.
This technique is indicated if there is a
  • springy end feel in extension
  • click with flexion and/or flexion and rotation closed chain activities
  • painful end feel with passive terminal knee extension
If you end up trying this technique, let me know how it works out! I don't get a chance to use this often, but it recently worked on me, when I taught it to Dana Palmer, my mentee and co-host of Untold Physio Stories Podcast. Check out our 3 month online mentoring program that Dana is a part of - Modern Rehab Mastery to go beyond the seminar.
