#MMTQ&A: Help! Cervical AROM is Limited but PROM is Full!

🤔⁉ This is a Q&A from a MMT follower on social media. When watching a patient/client do a Turkish Get Up, he noticed a huge difference in AROM vs PROM unweighted cervical rotation. What's an easy and fast way to work on limited AROM when PROM is full? 😲😎
The question was based on watching this older MMT Video on Cervical Motor Control. In that video, the PT student was always "stretching" his tight right upper trap and could not rotate then flex his neck to touch his chin to his clavicle. Upon my suggestion to try flexion then rotation in that order, he had full ROM actively, and also had full ROM passively in NWB.
