Prone Pressup Progression/Regression for Loss of Sidegliding

A loss of sidegliding in standing can be associated with almost any lower quarter pain presentation or loss of function you see clinically.

This is why the SGIS Assessment is my go to initial screen for lower quarter dysfunction. Below is a video taken from the 2014 The Eclectic Approach to UQ and LQ Assessment and Treatment in Vancouver, BC. I am demonstrating an unloaded (NWB) variation on the prone pressup. In this case, it would be for a loss of sidegliding in standing, or lumbar loading on the right side.
