4 Global Mobility Exercises - themanualtherapist.com

Global Mobility

Mobility exercises that can be used in a full-body, catch-all format can be quite effective as a part of your overall warm-up routine. These type of exercises can be used prior to strength training or sport participation, and even as part of an active recovery or “off-day” circuit.

All you’ll need is something sturdy in front of you like a box or bench at roughly 12 to 18 inches in height. They key here is that you’ll be addressing multiple body parts at once from a mobility and flexibility standpoint.
Plug these full-body exercises into your next training session or before playing sports!

Exercise Progressions:

  1. Half Kneel Book Opener
  2. Half Kneel Windmill
  3. Alternating Yoga Plex
  4. Alternating Yoga Plex to Yoga Pike
