Quick Links

Today's Quick Links come from In Touch PT, EIM, and Pain Ed.

Remember, The Eclectic Approach to UQ is coming to Florida! Learn how to hack into the nervous system and educate the patient for rapid outcomes! Here is the registration link!

People love lists! Some of my top posts of this year are the Top 5 Fridays, so head on over to Dr. Harrison Vaughn's beginning of the 5 D's to Clinical Practice. It's suspenseful!

Pain Ed is a site devoted to Pain Science Education for both the clinician and the persistent pain patient. Here is a post looking at the session as an encounter/interaction, versus the treatment. Patients often believe they are coming in for a "treatment," however that in itself is the sum of it's parts, and not just some passive press and guess.

Wondering about ICD-10? I think it will be just as hard to say "ICD-10" as it is to say a new year after Jan 1st! EIM breaks it down into the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. Even if I hope to be cash based by Oct 1st, 2014, I will still have to use the system for out of network reimbursement for my patients. Change happens, and Heidi is right, you have to accept it, may as well learn it.

As always, for more links new and old, check out the OMPT Daily!
