Ruling Out Bony Pathology of the Hip

Nxt Gen PT recently shared a great video on their facebook page on ruling out bony pathology of the hip. The hip is one thing I've come to respect in the past 3-4 years; moving away from pathoanatomy also means that there are often significant hip bony asymmetries that you cannot affect rapidly. It may or may not affect your patient's pain, I've still restored threat free available mobility - not symmetry. In those cases, full function was restored by working on other areas in the chain that rapidly responded to improve ability to accept load, like the tibia, ankle, and/or knee.
