Clinical Pearl: Preventing Wrist Pain and Carpal Tunnel Issues


For the first time in 3 years, I find myself holding a new baby! As a result, my dominant hand/wrist, one that I had CTS like issues prior to becoming a PT tends to flare up.

Here is a simple way to prevent going over the threshold of pain perception by resetting the area continuously. Like all resets, the frequency at which you have to do it depends on how often you are pronating your forearm and flexing your wrist. The reset is in the video below, it's simple as always!
