The OMPT Daily is out with some very sad news the death of Robin McKenzie.
Robin McKenzie was one of the true visionaries of our field. He pioneered many of the concepts research has backed up. Things that other systems used to scoff at (and still do) such as
- patient classification
- patient self treatment
- palpation is not necessary
- manual therapy is not necessary in most cases
- patient education on decreasing threat
- specificity is not necessary
