EDGE and EIM Collaboration!

The EDGE and The Manual Therapist are excited to announce collaboration with Evidence in Motion.

EIM has chosen to use The EDGE tool for the instruction of instrumented assisted soft tissue mobilization techniques in patients with spine and extremity musculoskeletal dysfunction.  In selected courses, participants will receive one EDGE tool for their professional tool kit. This is a great opportunity for physical therapists to incorporate instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization techniques using the EDGE tool into their clinical practice.

  4. What's the best way to begin IASTM learning? Is there a course that you recommend before beginning IASTM and using the Edge? I've considered taking Graston courses and purchasing the Edge as my tool instead of Graston tools, mainly for monetary reasons. I know you've also mentioned IPA for functional release. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

  5. I have the EDGE basics series as a one time purchase through my EDGE store, or as part of the subscription for my OMPT Channel videos. You can see some of these on youtube.com/religiosopt. That being said, you could always take Graston level 1, as just apply those techniques to the EDGE. IPA got me started in functional release with movement, and I highly recommend their courses. They mainly use their hands for STM and release, however.
