Tim Richardson, PT presents data about patient satisfaction and a study on NPs vs MDs. Patients felt that NPs listened to them 80% of the time, while MDs were less than 50%. Most PTs, especially those trained in MDT are very active listeners as we base what we measure objectively on what we hear subjectively. I'm sure screening of neuromusculoskeletal systems can easily be done in a hospital setting, and especially an emergent setting by PTs.
